Carlos and Anja first met through the INTIX (International Ticketing Professionals Association) member forum while they were both residents of the Niagara region, and have talked about the need for a regional association in the Greater Niagara area over many years. In the spring of 2024 they began plans for this newly formed networking group.

Alison Barry

Director of Patron Experience & Ticketing

Chautauqua Institution

Chautauqua, New York, USA

As the Director of Patron Experience & Ticketing at Chautauqua Institution, Alison oversees the organization's ticketing operations, patron services, and accommodations office. She worked for many years at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and also spent time at the State University of New York at Fredonia where she served as campus ticket office manager, as a course instructor, and as coordinator of the arts administration minor program. Alison is an active and long-time member of INTIX and past board member.

Rob has been working in the entertainment industry for 25 years, and for the past 2 years has been the TIcketing Services Manager at the First Ontario Performing Arts Centre. He is passionate about live events and creating great experiences for audiences, whether through seamless ticketing, customer service, data analysis, or fund development. Whether optimizing box office systems, or leading a team to deliver top-tier service, Rob thrives on ensuring everything runs smoothly in the box office.

GNTP aims to meet quarterly throughout the Niagara region either in Canada or on the USA side of the border through networking events or Zoom meetings.
